Moonlight Youth Theatre's FROZEN JR 2024

MYT Diversity & Inclusion Statement

Moonlight Youth Theatre’s Frozen JR (2024)

Moonlight Youth Theatre believes in equity, justice, inclusion and belonging for all.  We believe art is stronger when more voices, perspectives, and experiences are included and represented onstage and off.

We actively welcome, include and affirm all people regardless of race, socioeconomic status, color, national origin, religion, housing, diverse perspectives, age, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, neurological or physical ability, body type, veteran status, immigration status, family structure, or education level. This commitment extends to our staff, creative teams, students, their families, volunteers and audiences.

We are an anti-racist organization.

We are committed to actively identifying, recruiting, and retaining individuals who identify as members of underrepresented communities at all levels of the organization. We continue to learn and we commit to receiving feedback as we grow and advance in these critical areas: racial and ethnic diversity; socio-economic diversity; increasing access for people with disabilities; LGBTQ+, gender-identity and expression diversity. This list is not exhaustive, and we will continue adding to it in response to measurable outcomes from surveys, local demographics and the needs of our community.

CONCERN RESOLUTION PATHWAY

Moonlight Youth Theatre provides a pathway for resolving concerns related to all areas of our organization.
