All throughout our Fall Semester, we’ll be hosting special workshops on Fridays to spotlight specialty training in dance, makeup, acting, and more!

LEAPS & TURNS WORKSHOP
Friday, August 28th
5:00-8:00 PM / $45

Created for dancers at an intermediate level and above, this three hour workshop with SDSU Dance Coach Taylor Kullman will help students focus on improving some of the most exciting elements of dance: leaps and turns!

Growing up in Southern California, Taylor began dancing at a young age and continued her training through college where she competed as a member of the San Diego State University dance team. She trained in multiple styles with emphasis on Jazz, Pom, and Hip Hop. She graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Dance. She continued her dance journey in Los Angeles as a member of Clippers Spirit for six seasons and captain of the NBA Dance team for her last two. She has also danced with YG, Soulja Boy, Ty Dolla $ign, Roddy Rich, Mario, and other major recording artists. Currently, she is assistant coach for the SDSU dance team.

DREAM LIKE TAYLOR WORKSHOP!

Designed for dancers of all abilities, this two week workshop taught by pro Kylie Molnar will both improve dance skills for those than consider themselves "Singers First," as well as prepare an onstage performance of "Shake It Off" for the DREAM LIKE TAYLOR concert at Moonlight Amphitheatre. Tuition includes:

  • Two, three hour Workshops on Friday, Sept 25th and Friday, Oct 2nd.

  • 1 free ticket for each participant to attend the DREAM LIKE TAYLOR concert on Saturday, Oct 3rd.

  • Perform on stage with Cassie B during the show.

HALLOWEEN MAKE UP WORKSHOP!
Fri, October 23 / 5:00-8:00 PM / $65

During this three hour workshop, join professional makeup artist Jamie Leodones (CHICAGO FIRE) as you learn special effects techniques you can apply just in time for Trick-or-Treating! These "grossies and gories" will be plenty of fun, but parents should prepare themselves for quite a fright sight at pick-up time.

*Makeup will be provided.

ACTING FOR FILM WORKSHOP!
Fri, Nov 6 & 13 / 5:00-8:00 PM / $65

This two-week acting workshop with seasoned pro Verity Branco (CRIMINAL MINDS, S.W.A.T.) will give students an invaluable entry point into understanding the key differences between stage and film acting all while reiterating the essential techniques of acting in general.

Work on camera with scene partners and receive personalized feedback that can be applied in real time.
